ATC's Company Values - Revisited!

Hi Tea Lovers! Rachel here.

Now that ATC is in its fourth year, I think it’s a good time to revisit the values that guide this small business and shape our interactions with customers, our local community, and the world around us.

ATC established three core guiding principles in 2021 and has built upon them through its work ever since. I am proud of the progress I have made in this business. It has helped me to forge new and meaningful connections with my community, find strength I didn’t know I had, and helped me spread awareness about the joy and wonders of tea.

ATC’s company values

1) Accessibility with ATC means various price points, inclusivity in tea blends & styles, and plenty of information for tea newbies and beginners in brewing.

Delicious and beneficial herbal tea does not have to be a luxury experience - even though it can certainly feel like one! To me, accessibility means that our teas are available to a wide range of customers at varying price points - whether they are looking for a quick cup each morning before work or a large supply of bulk tea to last an entire season.

ATC offers both bagged and loose handmade organic teas free from artificial flavors and additives, and we do it both online and in a variety of in-person events and outlets. Each tea comes with a wealth of information, its ingredients and the herbal wellness benefits associated with it, and our packaging includes clear instructions to brew the best cup so that even the newest of tea beginners can get what they need from each brew.

2) Community with ATC means an open, supportive vibe in all of our engagements and lots of collaborations, partnership, and contributions to positive community impact.

ATC is proud to give back to the community it serves and supports by contributing to local nonprofit organizations, collaborating with other small businesses, and taking part in events and initiatives that bring about positive impacts in our community. Community is more than just a company value - it is the basis of my career’s work with nonprofits and the driver of all of my social connections. It’s natural for this to bleed over into my business and it’s in the back of my mind in every interaction I have as a representative of this business.

3) Shared Learning with ATC means transparency, thorough and accessible educational content about herbal wellness, and plenty of opportunities for all of us to learn together.

ATC is committed to providing thoroughly researched and accurate herbal information that engages our audience about the benefits of different herbs, the importance of organic products, and their positive impacts on our health and overall wellness. We invite everyone to join us for herbal tea blending workshops, tastings, and collaborations with other local small business owners for opportunities to learn and network with like-minded tea lovers.

By defining these values, it’s my hope that ATC will attract supporters that resonate with these ideas and continue to build a brand identity that reflects what I think is important. Four years in, I look forward to what we can all continue to do together!
